So this isnt REALLY a throwback but I just wanted to reflect on all of my accomplishments through the years. 

From my earliest memory I was obsessed with clothes and my moms high heels and makeup! I would swing my arms through her lacy bras and play "grown-up" I will always remember her laughing at me and shaking her head. Despite my super girlyness I was also the biggest tomboy! I would wear camo prints and play with fake machine with all the boys in the neighborhood. I thought I was so cool!

It humors me coming to the realization that I am still the exact same way! I love doing my hair, applying makeup, going shopping and yet I am still that little tomboy who will kick the heels off my feet and go jump in the mud LOL. I guess not too much has changed in that aspect. 

I've also felt this need to be the boss. I dont like to follow other peoples rules and I most certainly am not a "follower" in any regards to my life. I feel comfortable in a leadership role and enjoy the responsibilities that come with it. I am happy at my current job, however building ClassyCosmo is a dream come true for me. It represents everything that I love and who I am and I am my own Boss. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported me to this point and I am tremendously excited for the future of this business and I cannot wait to share all of the joys with YOU!

Good Morning, and TGIF!!!! 

Boy has this morning been RUFF! I slept through my alarm, wasn't able to do my hair, and threw on the most comfortable pair of camouflage pants I own! Corporate America appropriate? I think not, but whatev's! All I can say is TGIF TGIF TGIF!

I have been so busy working on the ClassyCosmo website and getting everything together for the launch that will be happening VERY soon! I swear the only thing I could really use right now is a bottle on Cabernet and a Jacuzzi style bath tub overflowing with bubbles! :)  

I am preparing myself to dedicate my life to my brand and company and although I am thoroughly exhausted I know that going after my dreams is of the utmost importance. I am feeling scared, nervous, overwhelmed and anxious and I am somehow managing to turn all these emotions into the fuel that is of success!

Summer Glow All Year Round!!

So as many of you have already heard, Million Dollar Tan is the best stuff EVER!!! 

I have tried the spray and the lotion in Tan Icon Extreme and love them both. If I had to choose one though I would go with the lotion. Both give you amazing color and last a few day days without reapplication. 

I liked the spray because of the color guard and cool brush but had some issues with it. I have applied both products in the evening before bed and the spray stained my white sheets and white comforter. Granted, it came out after I washed them but it was hassle. Second, I noticed a very potent "fake-tan" smell that I could not stand and was dissatisfied.

I LOVE the lotion. The application is a lot faster, It did NOT stain my sheets and it did NOT have a smell afterwards. I also received more compliments on my color with the lotion than the spray. I have no idea why either because both came out just as dark. I would assume because the lotion was easier to spread and distributed more evenly. 

You'll notice (or not) in most of my pics that I look tan and believe me It's not because I spend time in the sun. It's all Million Dollar Tan. 

Here's some bullets of my top favorite things about the lotion: 

• Easy Application 
• Lasts about 4 days without having to re-apply 
• Does not have a disgusting smell
• Does not stain my sheets
• Takes about 5 minutes or less to cover my entire body vs. the spray that took me about 20 minutes. 
• Great Deep Color 
• Natural Looking
• Apply at night; woke up tan AF 
• Does not flake or peel (spray made me patchy)
• I bought the 8 ounce bottle and it lasts forever
• A little goes a long way which means less money I have to spend

Cooler Weather Means New Wardrobe

I am so excited that the weather is cooling down and I get to hang my tanks and shorts up for a couple months. Summer is my favorite season, I love the beach and being able to go out on warm summer nights but fall and winter are definitely my favorite seasons when it comes to my style. I did a little shopping this weekend and scored this adorable shoulder cut-out knitted sweater and I think it's safe to say that I am obsessed!!

You can find this sweater in just about every fashion store/ boutique you walk into. I found mine at a store called Fashion Q for $19.99!!! Man, I love a great deal! Along with this I picked up a pair of green camouflage jeans and a leather peplum style tank. I'll be posting pics of that VERY soon!

Fall Season and Style!

I'm so excited that fall season is coming and the temperatures are starting to cool. It has been so hot here lately and I LOVE the heat but am so READY to pull out my sweater, legging, boots, beanies and all the darker makeup! I read an article on MSN this morning about Fall beauty myths and its definitely worth a read!
